2019 CWCCA National Specialty at Purina Farms
We have an awesome National Specialty this year with record breaking entrees and well respected breeder judges! Thank you to breeder Judges Barbara Hoffman and Jonathan Breckenridge-Mitchell for seeing and awarding the great qualities in the following cardigan Welsh Corgis of Laughing Dawg!
"Skyler" Laughing Dawg's Darkside Of The Moon (LaughingDawg Merrymoon Cedar Tree Spirit x AM CAN CH Laughing Dawg's Myrna Loy) bred and owned by Teresa Smith was Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes with under Breeder Judge Barbara Hoffman out of an entry of 77 bitches and Reserve Winners Bitch out of 125 bitches entered for a major under Breeder Judge Jonathan Breckenridge-Mitchell. I was in tears to have her win such a prestigious win beautifully handled by Linda Williams!
Our Russian Import "Lola" Zhacardi Iola (AM CAN RUS CH Pluperfect Merrymoon Proper Bloke x Zhacardi Gilala) bred by Anna Zhludova and owned by Teresa Smith, Amy McGuire, and Laura Westenkirchner was pulled in sweepstakes out of 26 puppies to make the cut under Breeder Judge Barbara Hoffman and beautifully handled by Linda Williams.
LaughingDawg Merrymoon Cedar Tree Spirit (GCH Pluperfect Merrymoon Davenitch Praise Thee Well x Merrymoon Pluperfect Par Tay) bred by Teresa Smith and Barb Hoffman and owned by Teresa Smith was 2nd place in Bred By Dog out of 13 Bred by Dogs entered under Breeder Judge Jonathan Breckenridge-Mitchell.
"Myrna" AM CAN CH Laughing Dawg's Myrna Loy (AM CAN CH Merrymoon Pluperfect Pathway x CH Redbud's I Saw Her Standing There) Bred and Owned by Teresa Smith was Best Brood Bitch with get Skyler handled by Linda Williams and Adele handled by Donna Messer! In Best of Breed Myrna made the cut twice out of 146 champions entered plus veterans all under Breeder Judge Jonathan Breckenridge-Mitchell! Thank you to Linda Williams for handling Myrna in the Megan also!

"Abbey" Dreamworld's Abbey Road bred by Amy McGuire and Kim Hinckley and owned by Amy McGuire was 1st place in Amateur Owner Handler under Breeder Judge Jonathan Breckenridge-Mitchell!

Canadian Supported Entry Specialty
Awesome weekend of showing in Canada. Laughing Dawg's Myrna Loy (Ch. Pluperfect Merrymoon Pathway x Redbud's I Saw Her Standing There) was Winner's Bitch, Best of Winners, Best of Breed for a Major at her first show in Canada Friday. Saturday she was Winner's Bitch for her second Major. Sunday at the Cardigan booster show she was Winner's bitch, Best of winner's for her third major. She only need 3 points to achieve her Canadian championship and she made the Canadian ranking system in just one weekend of showing! LOTS of lovely dogs and great wins! Congratulations to everyone and for a large and lovely entry! Thank you to Barb Hoffman for you hospitality! Congrats on Ch. Merrymoon Pluperfect Pathway 's Best of Breed at the Booster show today and Group 4 win taking him to #1 ranked Cardigan in Canada! Beautifully shown by Lin Mazurkiewicz! Also on Ch. Merrymoon Pluperfect Passport was Best of Opposite today. Select dog today was Ch. Aelwyd Watch For Me By Moonlight! Winner's Dog Merrymoon Stand and Deliver. Reserve winners bitch Merrymoon Pluperfect Pinafore. Reserve winner's dog "Gandalf" Congratulations all! The best part was Barb Hoffman's Lifetime Achievement award by the Canadian Cardigan Corgi Club! Beautiful family pictures to come soon. 9 out 14 dogs of the show entry were from Barb's Breeding! Quite a special show!
